  • Better compliance with Health and Human Services (HHS) ruling Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act.   • Title VI of Civil Rights Act of 1964 which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance.

  • Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act enforces that people who are deaf or hard-of-hearing have access to sign language interpreters and other auxilary aids in hospital and clinics when needed for communication.
